Easy Cheap Chocolate Cookies

Cookies are delicious, but they require so many steps!

Butter, eggs, flour, more butter, tear drops, and back pain. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it is great to have a good old-fashion homemade cookie, but other times you need something quick.

Did you know that any boxed cake mix can make cookies if you just at 1/2 cup of oil and 2 eggs?

It is basically magic. I have made an array of cookies with this little conversion; butterscotch, sprinkles and carrot cake cookies.

Today I made, chocolate cookies. I also wanted to get fancy, so I added Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips. That’s the magic of this recipe, you can add almonds, sprinkles even chocolate chips. Anything you want! From start to finish it took me 13 mins to make these cookies.

They are not overly sweet and are good for a dessert or a sweet treat with tea or coffee. Why pay for 3 dollars for a Starbucks sweet treat when you can have 24 for 3 bucks? You can also freeze them for up to 2 months.

Chocolate and peanut butter, a match made in unicorn heaven.
