Let me tell you, I have been reading some AMAZING books over the last few months. I thought I would put together a little list so that you can get started on your winter reading!
I am going to give you the usual two sentence pitch on why you should read these books!

THE SISTERS OF THE WINTERWOOD by Rena Rossner
If you need some sisterly bond, fairy-tale, folklore, shapeshifting magic with some chapters in verse in your life this is the book for you. Also this is the first book in a long time that surprised me, I really did not know what was going to happen till it happened.
UPROOTED by Nami Novik
Guys magic is real, magical forest are the best, and Dragons don’t always have scales. Also trees can like kinda eat people…
CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE by Tomi Adeyemi
Honestly, just read it because it’s a book you did not know you needed in your life. The world is so vivid and extraordinary.
THE HATE U GIVE by Angie Thomas
If you saw the film you should read the book, if you read the book you should see the film. Also the title is a tribute to Tupac (THUG LIFE) which means The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everyone–basically hate is taught and retaught.
