A little bit late, but this is the April Playlist with songs just as eclectic as the weather. Enjoy and subscribe on Spotify.
Don’t Go by Reece
This song is like butter on warm toast; warm, salty, and delicious. It’s a snack.
The Night We Met by Lord Huron
Can someone use this for their wedding song because it is adorable. I also like how the sound of water is used throughout the song. Make sure you make it to 1:30 in the song, that’s the best part. “I am not the only traveler who has not repaid his debt, I’ve been searching for a trail to follow again, take me back to the night we met.”
Rush (feat Jessie Reyez) by Lewis Capaldi
This is just a lovely love song. Why are there so many love songs this April? I have no idea, but these are the songs I am finding. The duet is so precious. It’s almost wedding season. Someone use this song for their wedding too please.
Fade by Lewis Capaldi
That voice, those lyrics. Damn.
Never mind (Alright) by Dennis Lloyd
This song is very jazzy. The finger snaps themselves will get you grooving, then there is everything else that is so smooth about the song.
Tell Me (Feat. Saoires Ronan) by Johnny Jewel
I was watching a heart wrenching documentary about eating disorders; this song played during the end credits. It’s such a sad, but hopeful feeling song. It’s like a dream and a nightmare at the same time. It really stuck with me.
Irene by Ben Zaire
This song tells a stunning story. It is very folk-ish/singer-song-writer.
Believe Me by Lilla Vargen
Her voice is lovely. This is another song that really tells a story. It is nice to have songs that have more than just a beat and lyrics that mean nothing. This song is good for a night-drive.
