Confession: I Love Socks

I love novelty socks. I also love a great fashion blog! I love bloggers who mix prints and wear boots with dresses, but I have noticed something.

Socks.

Where are they hiding?

Are they in the shoes? Are women not wearing socks?

It’s strange because attention to socks is very important when it comes to suits. Mens trends alway say don’t forget a trendy sock.

I always get overly excited when, Robert Downy Jr. sits down, his pants ride up and BAM a fun sock!

Now, of course, suits are not exclusive to men. I have notice that this attention-to-sock trend comes into play anytime suits are involved. Even when nice dress pants are involved, but as soon as they are not, no one cares about socks.

I am calling everyone’s bluff.

Socks are wonderful. I literally have a basket of socks.

Halloween socks, spotted socks. All the socks.

I have socks with the name of banned books on them.

Imagine all black with a cuffed, black jean and a fun sock.

It’s like a surprise when people look down, or when you cross your legs and your socks say, check me out, this is not a game. As a professor, my students’ tend to compliment my sock game a lot.

I think socks are a small thing that make an outfit pop.

I am calling it right now.

2018 the year that the sock in every situation makes a comeback.
